What is The Giving Garden?

The Giving Garden is a monthly giving program supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley.

Why Should I Join the Giving Garden?

The children we serve are like seeds, all with the ability to blossom and reach their full potential in life. Together, our mentoring programs, incredible volunteers, and dedicated donors work to defend that potential by providing an environment for each child to thrive.

It costs $1200 to create and support a match between a Big and a Little for one year. The Giving Garden, through a steady stream of support from loyal donors, allows for us to nurture our programs and continue to nourish more seeds.

How Does it Work?

It’s easy! Select an amount of your choice that will be automatically and securely deducted from your debit or credit card each month. You have the option to cancel at any time.

  • Tax receipts will be annualized and issued for the full amount at the end of each calendar year.
  • Credit card information is kept safe and secure.
  • When a credit card expires or is lost, please inform our office and provide your new card information.

Qualifying Gifts

Members can join the Giving Garden in two ways:

  • Monthly donations made via credit card through the Giving Garden online payment system.
  • Donations made through workplace giving, outside of any United Way campaign. Please notify the BBBSLV office of any workplace payroll deductions that would entitle you to Giving Garden Membership.

Similar to tending a garden, lifting up a child is a labor of love that requires consistent time and attention.
