| Since our founding in
1970, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley has
helped to form more than 3,500 one-to-one relationships
between at-risk children and responsible adult role models.
These adult volunteers, carefully screened, trained, and
supervised by our agency, serve as mentors and positive
examples to children who live in one-parent homes.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is a two-county agency that
serves children between the ages of 7 and 16 in Lehigh
and Northampton Counties. Children who have mentors
are less likely to start using drugs and alcohol. Little
Brothers and Little Sisters improved their school attendance,
performance, and attitudes about school work.
As a Big Brother or Big Sister,
you will have the opportunity to create a unique friendship.
