Bowl For Kids' Sake 2012
Big Brothers Big Sisters Lehigh Valley kicked off 2012 with another record-breaking Bowl For Kids' Sake on Sunday, March 4 at AMF Parkway Lanes. Thanks to the support of 900 bowlers and volunteers from over 100 companies and organizations, the agency raised a record $208,000 at its biggest annual fundraiser. Nearly 200 teams registered to bowl.
Bowl For Kids' Sake also boasted over 40 corporate sponsors, including AMF Parkway Lanes, First Niagara Bank, Lafayette Ambassador Bank, LANtek, Service Electric Cable TV and Communications, Viamedia, and Wells Fargo.
Gerry Nau, Chairman and CEO of Lafayette Ambassador Bank and FNB Bank, served as the event's Honorary Chair and hosted the event live on SECTV 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Carl Segneri, Vice President of PPL and a dedicated Big Brothers Big Sisters Board member, served as the Bowl For Kids' Sake Committee Chair.
