Big Brothers Big Sisters Lehigh Valley has announced the promotion of Maggie Klingseis of Hellertown to Program Director.

Klingseis was previously BBBSLV’s Match Support Coordinator since 2014, before being promoted to Community-based Manager in December 2015. She previously worked for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County.

In her new role she oversee all aspects of the program department to ensure that adult volunteers (Bigs) and children (Littles) are properly enrolled in the mentorship program and matched. Her role also handles customer service, focusing on volunteer options and child safety. She will support the staff in growing the agency’s services across the region, as well as with fundraising and volunteer recruitment while building relationships with community institutions such as schools, businesses, and social service agencies.

She holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from Millersville University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Elizabethtown College.
